Carl Weigel is an analyst at 1V1sion Capital, focused on the investment and operational process across the firm’s portfolio. Carl has research and investment experience in public and private markets.
Prior to 1V1sion, Carl worked on various teams at Bridgewater Associates, and helped launch multiple new strategies for the firm across different asset classes. Before Bridgewater, Carl conducted trade and development economics research focused on the major economies of South America.
Carl studied Economics, Latin American History, and Philosophy at Hampshire College, and rowed at the University of Massachusetts.
His favorite pastimes are cooking and hosting with his wife, exploring new places, and anything active that gets him outdoors.
